We took the name of our development from an early settlement in this area, the town of Juliette founded in 1845. It was one of the first English-speaking communities in western Marion County. This peaceful farming village stood on what is now the Juliette Falls property.

     The natural beauty and resources here have attracted settlers since the earliest days of the Timucuan Indians.

     In the late 1890s, a high grade of phosphate was discovered here, leading to a mining boom that gave rise to the town of Dunnellon.  Juliette Falls was then incorporated into Dunnellon.   Discover for yourself the pleasures that are uniquely Juliette Falls, where the ideals of home, community, and lifestyle have been reinvented.
